On Wednesday a partial solar eclipse was visible in the morning in south China. Here, Charlie’s helper, Iris, projects the eclipse onto a sheet of paper.
Several teachers had pieces of glass from a welder’s helmet. I took this photo of the ellipse using that dark glass.
